Our Lawyer's Profiles
Anthony G. Lados

Tony Lados was born in Tillsonburg and raised on a tobacco farm in Norfolk County.  After graduating from high school in Delhi and completing his post-secondary education in London, he returned to marry Angela and to raise their daughters in Norfolk.

Tony graduated with his Law degree from the University of Western Ontario and subsequently practiced for almost forty years with Sheppard, MacIntosh, Lados & Nunn LLP.  When that former firm merged with another in Simcoe, he was delighted to accept the invitation of D. Bradley Bennett and Michael G. Szorenyi to continue his family law practice in Tillsonburg.

Tony is a past President of the Norfolk Law Association and has been presiding as a Deputy Judge of The Small Claims Court for more than twenty years.

Tony’s practice is restricted to civil litigation with a focus on family law.  He prides himself on the delivery of thorough, cost-effective and compassionate service that produces the results that his clients seek.  Tony believes that negotiated settlements provide the best result in most cases but he will not hesitate to initiate court proceedings if the other spouse or his or her lawyer behaves unreasonably.
